Acid Attack Leaves Wife and Brother Injured in Assam’s Mangaldoi

A horrifying incident unfolded in Assam’s Mangaldoi district as a man, Akhtar Hussain, attacked his wife, Rafida Begum, and his brother, Rafiqul Hussain, with acid in Ward No. 2. The attack took place while Rafida was sleeping, followed by an attack on Rafiqul when he arrived at the residence.

Both victims sustained grievous injuries and were rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment. The motive behind this shocking attack is suspected to be related to an illicit relationship between Rafida and Rafiqul. Investigations are ongoing to uncover more details about this distressing incident.
