Assam’s ‘Mur Ghurar Duronto Goti’ Wins Best Film at Golden Raven Fest

Maharishi Tuhin Kashyap’s short film “Mur Ghurar Duronto Goti” (The Horse from Heaven), representing India at the 2023 Oscars, has secured the Best Film award at the Golden Raven International Film Festival in Russia. The ceremony took place in Anadyr city, Sukhka Autonomous Region, where the Indian Embassy in Russia received the honor on behalf of the filmmakers. This film, after winning Best Picture at the Bangalore International Film Festival 2022, was the first Assamese short film to represent India at the Academy Awards. Tuhin, via video message, expressed gratitude to the festival audience and wished for world peace.
