Advantage Assam 2.0 to Be a Statewide Event: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati will be a statewide event. District Commissioners (DCs) will facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹5 lakh to ₹50 crore in their respective districts. The goal is to execute 2,590 small MoUs totaling ₹15,911 crore at the district level.

Dr. Sarma also instructed DCs to arrange screenings of the mega Jhumoir Binandini event at over 800 tea gardens, allowing locals to enjoy the celebration as Prime Minister Narendra Modi attends the main event in Guwahati.
