AFSPA Restored Across Manipur, Extended in Parts of Arunachal and Nagaland
The Ministry of Home Affairs has reimposed AFSPA across Manipur, barring 13 police station areas, for six months from April 1, 2025. The act has also been extended in parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Manipur remains under President’s Rule following CM Biren Singh’s resignation amid ethnic violence.
