AIUDF MLA Slams Assam CM’s Independence Day Speech

AIUDF MLA Rafiqul Islam criticized CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Independence Day address, calling it “hate-driven propaganda” aimed at polarisation. He said the CM spread fear about “illegal intruders” instead of focusing on freedom fighters and development.

Islam accused BJP of failing to stop infiltration despite being in power and claimed Muslims face discrimination in governance and postings. He urged unity, employment, and an end to divisive politics.
