Al-Fresco Assault: Unidentified Miscreants Injure Four in Mangaldoi Ambush

In a startling incident in Assam’s Mangaldoi, an evening gathering turned violent as unidentified miscreants launched an unexpected attack on a group, leaving at least four individuals seriously injured on Friday. The assault occurred in the number 40 ward of Mowamari village, situated in the Mangaldoi subdivision of Darrang district.

According to a distressed member of the group, comprising 11 individuals, they were suddenly ambushed by a large group of approximately 20 miscreants. The attackers not only inflicted injuries but also caused damage to the group’s vehicle.

Sanjiv Kumar Nath, one of the injured victims, was subsequently transferred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati for advanced medical treatment, where he is currently in critical condition.

Upon receiving information about the attack, local police promptly reached the site. An investigation has been initiated to identify and locate the assailants, with officials asserting that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
