Amritpal Singh Arrested Again After NSA Detention Ends

Waris Punjab De chief and Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh was taken into Punjab Police custody from Dibrugarh Central Jail after his NSA detention ended on April 22.

He was arrested in connection with the 2023 Ajnala police station attack case and later taken to Dibrugarh Police Station for interrogation on a two-day remand.

Police will question him over his alleged role in the Ajnala incident, where a mob stormed a police station demanding the release of an associate. He is expected to be shifted back to Dibrugarh Central Jail after interrogation.
