Another Shocking Crime in Nagaon District

The district of Nagaon is once again in the spotlight for a heinous crime against a minor. A 60-year-old government school teacher has been detained for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in Demow village, under Raha police station. The incident occurred in a paddy field, where the accused took the girl on his motorcycle and assaulted her.

The victim revealed that the teacher threatened her to lie about the incident, claiming she had met with an accident. Upon returning home, the girl’s parents noticed her mud-stained clothes, leading her to disclose the assault. The family immediately lodged a complaint, resulting in the teacher’s detention.
