Anti-Corruption Operation: ASI Caught Accepting Bribe in Assam’s Silchar, Further Investigation Initiated

In an ongoing effort to combat corruption, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption successfully trapped an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) named Noman Uddin Ahmed at Ghungoor OP under Silchar PS in Cachar, Assam. The ASI was apprehended while accepting a bribe from a complainant in exchange for returning a stolen motorcycle.
