Arrest Made in Connection to Brutal Attack: Guwahati Police Investigates Youth’s Death in Ganeshguri

The Guwahati Police has apprehended a suspect linked to the tragic death of Ikramul Hussain, who fell victim to a brutal attack by several youths near Vishal Mega Mart in the Ganeshguri locality. Following the incident, Ikramul’s family filed an FIR, prompting the city police to intensify their investigation. The authorities have obtained CCTV footage capturing the entire incident, aiding in the identification of the arrested individual. Reports indicate that a search is underway to apprehend another accused who is currently at large. The attack, resulting in significant head injuries, occurred on Monday night, leading to Ikramul’s admission to Dispur Polyclinic in Ganeshguri. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries around 3 pm on Tuesday.
