Assam Announces Literary Awards and Pensions for 2025–26

The Assam government has selected 18 writers for the Assam Literary Award and 10 literary figures for the Assam Literary Pension for 2025–26. Each awardee will receive ₹50,000, while pension recipients will get ₹8,000 per month starting December 7, 2025, as per the Assam Literary Award & Pension Rules.
