Assam Book Fair 2025 Begins at Khanapara

The Assam Book Fair 2025 began on December 24 at the Khanapara Veterinary College playground. Organised by the Publication Board Assam with the All Assam Book Publishers and Sellers Association, the 14-day fair features 135 stalls.

Publishers from Assam, Delhi, Haryana, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Hyderabad are participating, giving the fair a strong national presence. The event has drawn large crowds of readers of all ages and will host several literary programmes, including a multilingual poets’ meet on January 3.
