Assam CM Announces Helpline for Cheating Reports in Upcoming Exams

To combat cheating in the upcoming Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the introduction of helpline numbers for invigilators. These helplines will allow immediate reporting of misconduct during the exams. Sarma also mentioned that strict actions, including potential arrests and property confiscation, may be enforced against rule violators. Preparations for the exams, starting on September 15, are underway, with over 11 lakh candidates expected to participate, leading to an increase in exam centres.
