Assam CM to Reveal Identity of Alleged Rahul Gandhi “Body Double

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced his intention to disclose the identity and address of the alleged “body double” purportedly used by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the state. Sarma, who initially raised the allegation during a press conference on Thursday, cited a news report suggesting that the person on the Yatra bus might not have been Rahul Gandhi. Speaking at a program in Sonitpur district on Saturday, the chief minister stated, “I will share all details—name and how it was done. Just wait for a few days.” Sarma plans to make the revelation upon his return to Guwahati after being in Dibrugarh on Sunday.
