Assam Completes 30,000+ Teacher Transfers via TTMS

Since the 2020 launch of Assam’s Teacher Transfer Management System (TTMS), over 30,000 teacher transfers have been processed across Secondary Education, Elementary Education, and Samagra Shiksha categories. TTMS, designed to streamline transfers and reduce corruption, registered 2.38 lakh teachers, receiving 68,845 applications. Transfers included 25,482 mutual and 6,200 single cases, ensuring compliance with Pupil-Teacher Ratio norms.
