The video, filmed near Jail Road in Fancy Bazar, Guwahati, depicts a police officer violently assaulting a delivery agent. The incident occurred after the agent allegedly ran a red light. Despite public outcry over the excessive force used, a police official defended the officer’s actions. A departmental inquiry is underway, and a new officer has been assigned to the station.
