Assam Forest Officials Nab Three Accused in Migratory Bird Poisoning Case

Forest department officials in Assam’s Biswanath district have apprehended three individuals suspected of poisoning and killing migratory birds. The accused, identified as Dadul Borah alias Khoni (28), Basanta Pradhan (35), and Bubul Saikia (45), residents of Behali, were arrested in a late-night operation. Earlier reports indicated that a group of miscreants had poisoned migratory birds in the Rangsali Dalani area. Locals, along with bird enthusiasts and youths, rescued some of the affected birds, which were then transferred to a facility for treatment by forest department officials.
