Assam Gears Up for HSLC and HS Examinations, Minister Emphasizes Discipline
Assam is anticipating a crucial educational milestone as the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) Examinations are scheduled to commence on February 16th and February 12th, respectively. Education Minister Ranoj Pegu emphasizes the significance of discipline and sincerity, urging government officers and teachers to fulfill their duties diligently. A substantial 4,25,965 students prepare for the HSLC Exam in 913 centers, while 2,80,216 students will take the HS Exam in 876 centers. Pegu, along with education authorities, conducted a thorough review of exam arrangements with district officials, establishing supervision committees to ensure a smooth examination process. The minister urges cooperation from parents, guardians, and citizens to facilitate the seamless conduct of these crucial exams.
