Assam Girls Rescued from Human Trafficking Racket in Bihar

Five girls from Assam were rescued from a human trafficking racket in Bihar’s Saran district during a joint operation by Mission Mukti Foundation, rescue organisations, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, and local police.

The victims, from Guwahati, Morigaon, and Nagaon, were allegedly lured with promises of high salaries and easy loans. Fake age certificates were also recovered from the traffickers. With this rescue, more than 30 Assam girls have been saved from such rackets in the past year.
