DB Stock Scam Accused Deepankar Barman Granted Bail by Gauhati High Court

Deepankar Barman, the main accused in the multi-crore DB Stock Consultancy scam, has been granted bail by the Gauhati High Court. The alleged Ponzi scheme is being investigated by the CBI and ED.

According to the ED, the company collected over Rs 400 crore from around 15,500 investors across India by promising high returns between 2021 and August 2024. The agency recently attached assets worth Rs 13.41 crore linked to the case in Assam, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam.
