Assam MBBS Student Dies by Suicide at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar

A 21-year-old MBBS student from Dibrugarh, Assam, Ratnesh Kumar Mishra, allegedly died by suicide at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar. He was found hanging in his hostel room a day before his second-year exams.

Mishra left a note stating no one was responsible for his death. Police suspect financial struggles at home as the cause.

He had sent a voice message to his brother, urging him to convince their father not to sell land and to pursue medicine. Mishra had recently returned to campus after a 10-day vacation with his father.
