Union Minister Stresses Organic Farming and Agricultural Development in Nagaon

Union Minister Bhagirath Choudhary, during a review meeting in Nagaon, emphasized the benefits of organic farming for soil health and environmental sustainability. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s vision for India’s development by 2047, focusing on uplifting farmers and the poor.

The minister reviewed NABARD schemes, palm oil cultivation, and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He urged Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) officials to provide soil testing services.

District Commissioner Narendra Kumar Shah presented the district’s administrative structure and agricultural initiatives. The visit is expected to boost agricultural progress in Nagaon.
