Assam, Mizoram Agree to Boost Tourism Cooperation

Guwahati: Tourism ministers of Assam and Mizoram held talks on Saturday to strengthen cooperation in the tourism sector and promote tourist exchanges between the two neighbouring states.

Mizoram Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar said most visitors to Mizoram come from Assam, highlighting the need for closer collaboration. Both ministers agreed to enhance coordination between their tourism departments and work together to promote the North East as a major tourism destination.
