Assam Panchayat Elections Scheduled for May 2025

The Assam State Election Commission has announced Panchayat elections in 27 districts. Voting will take place in two phases on May 2 and May 7, 2025, with counting on May 11. Nominations close on April 11, and withdrawals are allowed until April 17. The voter count has risen to 1.8 crore, marking a 13.27% increase from 2018.
