Assam Plans 32 New Dialysis Centres, Health Melas from April

Health Minister Ashok Singhal said 32 dialysis centres are under construction in Assam, with private hospital tie-ups to ensure one in every district. Responding to MLA Mrinal Saikia’s concerns over rising cancer and kidney cases, Singhal announced a statewide health check-up drive, ‘Swasthavaan Samaj, Swasthavaan Assam,’ starting April 1 in all Gaon Panchayats.
