Assam Police Arrest 15 Linked to ULFA-I Bomb Plot

The Assam Police, with NIA support, arrested 15 people, including three women, in connection with a ULFA-I bomb-planting operation. The arrests occurred across various districts, following joint intelligence efforts. Key suspects were apprehended from Tinsukia, Jorhat, Guwahati, and more.

Earlier, ULFA-I claimed responsibility for planting bombs at over 20 locations in Assam on Independence Day. The police have formed a Special Investigation Team and announced a ₹5 lakh reward for information leading to further arrests.
