Assam Police arrested 4 for selling cattle

A team under Khetri Police Station was able to confiscate a large amount of cash from four people who illegally transported and sold cattle.

According to police sources, a police team found a Maruti Suzuki Swift vehicle parked near Kahikuchi on NH-37 during a routine patrol at around 2.20 AM on Tuesday. There were four people inside the vehicle. On thorough checking, the team recovered Rs 13 lakh in a bag carried by one of the four persons.
