EVM Malfunction Delays Voting in Dhubri, Voters Face Inconvenience

In Dhubri, the electoral process encountered an unexpected obstacle when voting was postponed due to a malfunctioning Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). The glitch occurred at Polling station no. 110 in the 8-Dhubri Assembly Constituency, delaying the start of voting until approximately 8:20 AM, over an hour after the scheduled time of 7:00 AM. This delay inconvenienced voters who had arrived early to cast their ballots. By 9:00 AM, the total voter turnout in Dhubri was recorded at 10.75%.
