Assam Police Crack Down on Illegal Beef Sale Across State
Assam Police launched a statewide crackdown on illegal beef sale under the Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. Over 100 people were held and 1.5 quintals of beef seized during raids at 189 locations, including Guwahati, Darrang, Kokrajhar, and others.
