Assam Police Seek Public Help in Bomb Probe Linked to ULFA-I

Assam Police are seeking public assistance in their investigation after bomb-like devices were planted by the ULFA-Independent faction in protest against Independence Day. The police have offered a ₹5 lakh reward for information and assured confidentiality for informants. Four cases have been registered in Guwahati, with a Special Investigation Team (SIT) leading the probe. Similar teams will be deployed statewide. The devices, found in multiple districts, were safely defused. The police urge citizens to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities.
