Assam Rifles Destroys ₹27 Crore Illegal Ganja Cultivation in Tripura

Assam Rifles, along with Tripura Police, Forest Department, BSF and Tripura State Rifles, destroyed a large illegal ganja plantation in Kamalnagar and Bijoynagar areas of Tripura. Around 1.8 lakh ganja saplings were uprooted during the joint operation. The contraband was valued at about ₹27 crore. Security agencies said such coordinated drives will continue to curb narcotics activities in the state.
