Assam Seeks Singapore’s Help in Zubeen Garg Case via MLAT
The Assam government has requested the MHA to invoke the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) with Singapore over Zubeen Garg’s demise. This will enable access to case details, cooperation from Singaporean authorities, and possible extradition of accused. A special Assam team will be sent to Singapore once approved.
