Assam State Transport Corporation Introduces Digital Passenger Payments

The Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) announced the commercial launch of the ASTC City Cabs service as well as digital payment solutions such as QR code scanning and payments in ASTC buses via the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). PhonePe powers the ASTC City Cabs.

In the presence of state officials from the Transport Department, the Minister of Transport, Parimal Suklabaidya, launched this groundbreaking initiative.
