Assam STF Busts Drug Peddler, Seizes Heroin in Khanapara Raid

The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police apprehended a drug peddler in Guwahati’s Khanapara area and confiscated heroin during a morning raid near the Khanapara Bus Stand. Acting on reliable intelligence, the STF detained Md. Najim Uddin (26), a habitual peddler from Boko, Kamrup district. The raid yielded 29 vials containing suspected heroin weighing 41 grams, along with two mobile phones and ₹760 in cash. Necessary formalities have been initiated in connection with the incident, marking a significant step in the fight against drug trafficking in the region.
