Assam University Silchar Named Nodal Institution for Yuva Samagam Phase-V

Assam University Silchar has been designated as the nodal institution for Phase-V of Yuva Samagam, part of the “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative aimed at enhancing connections among youth nationwide. The university will host a cultural and educational exchange tour to IIM Raipur for selected students from Assam, scheduled for November or December.

Dr. Tapodhir Acharjee, the Nodal Officer, announced that Assam is paired with Chhattisgarh for this initiative. Applications are open to youth aged 18-30 through the online portal, with a deadline of October 21. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant encouraged participation, while Registrar Dr. Pradosh Kiran Nath expressed hope for strong youth engagement in this opportunity.
