Assam Woman Converts to Hinduism at Jakhalabandha Satra

A young woman from Assam, Regina Begum, converted to Hinduism at Sri Sri Jakhalabandha Satra in Nagaon on Monday. Under the spiritual guidance of Satradhikar Jugal Chandra Dev Goswami, the ceremony followed traditional Hindu rituals. Regina, an engineering student from Rangia, expressed her desire to embrace Sanatan Dharma. Legal formalities were completed before the conversion, including an affidavit. Goswami, who has overseen over 1,100 conversions, highlighted challenges faced during the journey, but Regina remained determined to complete the process.
