Assam Youth Congress Leader Arrested for Alleged Abduction

The general secretary of the Assam Pradesh Youth Congress, Samim Sarkar, was apprehended by Bhangagarh police on Sunday night for allegedly abducting a girl under the pretext of love. The incident occurred in the Chapar area of Dhubri district, where the girl was rescued after her family filed a complaint. Sarkar has also faced previous accusations of extorting money from people by promising jobs.
