Assam’s Barpeta district administration demolished a Madrassa

A Madrassa was demolished in Barpeta district os Assam following the arrest of an Arabic teacher for his alleged involvement with Al Queda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS), a fundamentalist terror group.

As per Lachit Kumar Das, Additional Dy Commissioner – This institution is involved in anti-national activities, Jihadi outfits. We immediately came to spot, verified property, found it to be on govt land & did not find the owner. So we decided to demolish it immediately.
