Beginning in 2025, CBSE will introduce biannual board exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared that a two-year board exam programme would be implemented starting with the academic year 2024–2025 in a significant effort to lessen the mounting burden on students. In a 2023 interview, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the transformative reforms are intended to lessen the stress and worry that children frequently experience as a result of having just one opportunity in board examinations.
