BJP Announces Candidates for November 13 By-Polls in Assam

The Assam BJP has announced its candidates for the November 13 by-polls. Nihar Ranjan Das will contest from Dholai, Diganta Ghatowar from Behali, and Diplu Ranjan Sarma from Samaguri. The party will contest three of the five seats, leaving Bongaigaon and Sidli to its NDA partners, AGP and UPPL. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pijush Hazarika expressed confidence in winning all five seats, stating the party is focused on victory, regardless of opposition strategies. The opposition is expected to announce its candidates soon.
