BJP Leader’s SC Certificate Declared Fake; Cancellation Recommended

The State Level Scrutiny Committee has found BJP State vice president Moon Swarnakar’s Scheduled Caste certificate to be fake and recommended its cancellation, triggering controversy within the party. Complaints regarding the certificate were filed three years ago by multiple organisations. Swarnakar, who previously held an OBC certificate and served in the BJP SC Morcha, had contested from SC-reserved constituencies but lost. Calls have been made for strict action against those using fake caste certificates. Attempts to contact Swarnakar went unanswered.
