In a significant breakthrough, Barpeta Police swiftly arrested a juvenile suspect in connection with the horrifying murder of a six-year-old girl. The arrest, made within 48 hours of initiating the investigation, followed the discovery of the lifeless body of the young girl in a gunny bag at a residence in Mouri Gaon, Baghbar, on January 29.

The minor suspect was promptly presented before a local court in Barpeta and subsequently sent to the Juvenile Observation Home in Boko. This development marks a crucial step in the ongoing efforts to bring justice to the tragic incident that has deeply affected the community.
