BSF Apprehends Two with Bangladeshi Currency Near Meghalaya Border
Border Security Force (BSF) troops in Meghalaya displayed their unwavering commitment to border security by apprehending two Indian nationals carrying Bangladeshi currency valued at 3,40,000 Taka near the International border of East Khasi Hills district. Acting on a specific tip-off, BSF conducted a special operation, leading to the discovery of a bag containing Bangladeshi Taka and the apprehension of the individuals, identified as Balanus Mawroh and Enterness Khongsni. Preliminary questioning revealed their involvement in illicit cross-border activities. Both individuals and the seized currency were handed over to the Police Station Pynursla for further legal proceedings.
