Cachar Police Escalates Probe into Alleged Human Trafficking Case, Expands Investigation to New Delhi

The Cachar Police has heightened its investigation into a suspected human trafficking case following allegations from a group of women who claim they were deceived by a placement and training agency promising jobs. The inquiry, now extended to New Delhi, involves multiple rounds of interrogations with previously placed individuals. Cachar SP Numal Mahatta emphasized the priority given to the matter and announced plans to dispatch a police team to New Delhi to pursue further leads and examine the alleged human trafficking activities.
