Centre Sanctions ₹747.72 Crore for Roads and Bridges in Assam

The Centre has approved 10 road projects and 16 bridge projects in Assam with a total outlay of ₹747.72 crore under CRIF schemes. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the projects will improve connectivity, reduce travel time and boost economic activity. The initiatives aim to strengthen transport links, replace weak bridges and support trade, tourism and essential services, especially in rural and flood-prone areas.
