Chhath Puja Celebrated with Fervor in Hojai

Chhath Puja was celebrated across Hojai district on Thursday with religious devotion. Devotees from various communities gathered at Shiv Bari Ghat and Natun Bazar Ghat to offer prayers to the Sun God. The ghats were beautifully decorated, and security measures were in place. The festival saw children enjoying crackers and festive foods. Notably, the Shivbari Ghat committee paid tribute to folk singer Sharda Sinha, who passed away on November 5.
