CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Launches ₹220-Crore Jorhat Water Supply Project

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone for Jorhat’s ₹220-crore water supply scheme. The project aims to provide 24-hour purified water from the Brahmaputra River to Jorhat residents.

The scheme is expected to be completed in 1.5 years and marks a major step in improving the city’s infrastructure. Dr. Sarma reaffirmed the government’s focus on enhancing public utilities during the event.
