CM Inaugurates Sports Complex, Launches Water Project in Golaghat

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated a Rs 3.5 crore sports complex at Golaghat Govt Bezbaruah HS School, funded by NRL’s CSR. The complex includes Assam’s first sports museum with memorabilia from athletes like Lovelina Borgohain and Hima Das. He urged preservation of the school’s heritage building. He also laid the foundation for a Rs 100 crore urban water project benefiting 55,000 people and inaugurated a table tennis stadium. Earlier, he visited Athkhelia Namghar and reviewed PM visit prep at the NRL site.
