CM Sarma Pledges Tough Action Against Troublemakers and Inclusive Development

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reaffirmed his government’s firm stance against infiltrators and anti-national elements. Speaking in Samaguri, he emphasized decisive action to maintain law and order, citing recent arrests of groups linked to Bangladesh.

Sarma highlighted Assam’s progress under the “double-engine” government, assuring unbiased distribution of welfare benefits and inclusive development. He noted a rise in BJP support among minority communities, reflecting a shift towards justice over appeasement.

Regarding Panchayat elections, Sarma confirmed they would proceed as scheduled, except for delays in areas with pending court cases.
