CM Sarma Reaffirms Investment Push as Japanese Delegation Visits Assam

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma declared Advantage Assam 2.0 a mission, not just a summit, during a visit to the Tata Semiconductor ATMP site in Jagiroad with a 52-member Japanese delegation. Led by Japan’s House Speaker Nukaga Fukushiro, the visit focused on investment, skill development, and bilateral ties. A Japan-assisted skill centre in Amingaon is set to train 50,000 youth, including Japanese language testing. The delegation also visited IIT Guwahati for collaboration talks.
